hey folks
i am a big fan of practicing a sustainable lifestyle, but the thing is i am not exactly out in the woods on a farm yet, and i don't own a home. i want to think of ways to incorporate sustainability into the urban lifestyle. here's a few of my ideas...
-compost at home
-grow a garden, no matter how small
-get a shared/community garden plot if you dont have one at home
-buy organic & local when possible
-support green energy sources if available, or email your local govt reps to show support
this is what i can think of off the top of my head. what else have we got? i know there is room for improvement at least at my house...
